Archive Get To Know the Wunders: Meet Jessica, Our Aesthetician Seeba Chaachouh Archive 4 mins read 12 months ago In our digital era, social media platforms have gradually become a crucial tool to grow businesses and promote products. For that reason, content creators are now an essential part of marketing agencies as they help strategize and meet clients’ social media goals. At Third Wunder, Jessica Kinnari works closely with clients on developing their platforms, growing their following, connecting with their target audience and managing their content. She spares no effort in executing plans as agreed with companies, scheduling social media calendars and setting up weekly and monthly updates. And did I mention that she has a way with making content aesthetically pleasing? It’s time to meet our social media savant. 1. Let’s cut to the chase—who are you, really? I’m Jessica Kinnari, the social media manager and content creator here at Third Wunder. 2. What’s your Wunder role? I work with the marketing team to create our client’s social media content in order to help them reach their social media goals. 3. How has your career path led to the digital marketing sphere? I basically fell into social media accidentally. It was not my original career plan. I started blogging 10 years ago, moved over to Instagram and began picking up digital marketing jobs from there by just saying yes to every opportunity presented to me. I studied journalism in university in order to learn all the technical skills from video editing and audio editing to photography and research. The purpose was to improve my skills. 4. Fair enough. So, what compelled you to stay? I enjoy the non-linear structure and constant change of social media, which is why I’ve continued to choose it as my career path. 5. What’s your favourite social media platform for digital marketing? Instagram, because it combines all the best features from all the other platforms. 6. Why do you think content creation is so crucial to growing a business? If no one knows about your business, there’s no way for them to find you. Content creation not only advertises your business but it gives you an opportunity to share your personality. Content creation doesn’t just build you a customer base, it also builds you a community. 7. How does social media influence you? I firmly believe that social media can influence people to be better humans, myself included. It helped me realize that I want to spend more time offline and set firm boundaries in my life, as well as providing me with an ongoing list of clothes I’d like to style. 8. Can brainstorming and creating social media content be challenging at times? Yes, coming up with 30+ brand new ideas every month is definitely challenging. To overcome this challenge, I plan everything two weeks ahead and make sure to keep an eye on what content works best for each client to recycle success each month. 9. How do you keep up with the everchanging features of social media? Thankfully, being on social media 24/7 allows me to notice all the new updates, along with the many Google alerts and notifications set up for all the social media platforms. 10. Say your life had a soundtrack. What would the theme song be? It would be Pretty Bitchin’ by Miranda Lambert. 11. You’d most likely get caught doing (blan) during break time. I’d most likely get caught buying clothes or makeup I absolutely do not need. 13. Tell us the best perk from working at a marketing agency. Go! The best perk from working at a marketing agency is the constantly changing landscape. There’s never room or time to be bored. 14. Pick a fictional character or archetype that best represents you. It’s definitely Rachel Green. I’ve owned many pairs of “‘I don’t need a job, I don’t need my parents, I’ve got great boots’ boots” on my career journey.
